Their remarkable achievement of building, selling, and closing over a hundred homes annually is a testament to their dedication and business acumen.
The entrepreneurial spirit of Jeannie and Bill didn’t stop there. In 1981, they ventured into the automotive industry by starting Car-Mart. Through their strategic leadership and innovative approaches, they transformed a small used car lot into the largest used car dealer in America by the mid-1990s. However, in the face of Bill’s cancer battle, the couple made the difficult decision to sell Car-Mart to a publicly traded company in 1998, choosing to remain landlords of the Car-Mart properties.
The passing of Bill in 1999 was a profound loss for Jeannie. Yet, inspired by their shared dreams and her resilience, she continued to steer their real estate development company towards new horizons. Under her leadership, Dynamic Development, Inc. embarked on the ambitious office/retail development project known as Fountain Plaza, among others, further cementing the company’s reputation in the industry.
In the wake of Bill’s battle with cancer, Jeannie has also dedicated herself to extensive philanthropy work, with a notable focus on Hope Cancer Resources. This initiative reflects her commitment to giving back to the community and supporting those affected by cancer, a cause deeply personal and inspired by Bill’s memory.
Today, as President of Dynamic Development, Inc., Jeannie oversees an impressive portfolio of over six million square feet of commercial real estate. Her journey from a visionary entrepreneur to a respected leader in the industry, and a compassionate philanthropist, is not just a story of personal achievement but a legacy of the transformative power of determination, partnership, innovation, and giving back.

In 1992, Todd embarked on a new challenge in the family’s construction business. Despite initial unfamiliarity with real estate and construction, he quickly adapted, discovering a passion that would define his career. Over the next 30+ years, Todd played an integral role in Dynamic Development’s key projects, including Victoria Place, Countryside Estates, 1000 Industrial, Car Mart buildings, Fleeman Estate, 100 Centre & Park Place shopping centers, as well as Fountain Plaza office retail park.
Named CEO in 2018, Todd, alongside his mother Jeannie, strategically shifted the company’s asset focus to acquiring large industrial properties nationwide, a decision that has significantly bolstered the company’s portfolio.
Todd’s dedication extends beyond business. Affected personally by cancer losses, he actively supports Hope Cancer Resources. His wife Melissa serves on its Foundation Board, echoing their shared commitment to community welfare. Todd’s respect for law enforcement led him to LEAP (Law Enforcement Assistance Program), where he currently serves as president.
Since 2006, Todd has been happily married to Melissa. They share a deep commitment to their family, which includes four children and three grandchildren. Todd exemplifies a leader who skillfully balances professional expertise with a profound dedication to his family and the wider community.
