Our History

1957

Bill and Jeannie both graduated from Rogers High School and were high school sweethearts. The couple got married after Jeannie’s freshman year of college and a short career in the army for Bill.

1971

Bill stopped working for his family at Foodtown stores, and he and Jeannie decided to start building houses. They took out a loan, drew a house plan on a brown paper sack, and named their construction company Dynamic Enterprises, Inc. The company is still in business today, just with a new name, and being managed by their two sons Todd and Bart.

1972

In one short year after opening their business, they built hundreds of homes in Benton County while developing subdivisions.

Late 1970s

Jeannie and Bill took several months to travel abroad and plan for an early retirement, but they knew they wouldn’t be able to sustain a life of travel forever.

1981

The Fleeman’s purchased the old Dog N’ Suds building on Highway 71 in Rogers and founded Car-Mart, an auto dealership with in-house financing.

Mid-1990s

1997

Bill was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma and began a year of intensive chemotherapy. He underwent a stem cell transplant that failed, leaving him and Jeannie desperate for a solution and no answers from doctors.

Sold Car-Mart to a publicly traded company.

2001

Developed a 5-acre area on Southwest Walton Blvd known as Park Place Plaza, the award-winning steel building with 52,000 square-feet of retail and office space.

2003

Jeannie started getting more involved in her real passions, Circle for Life Hospice and H.O.P.E. Inc., two non-profit organizations dedicated to helping the sickly and providing compassionate support and education for those dealing with cancer.

Summer of 2003

Jeannie began her largest project when she and her sons started developing the 50 acres of land on Rainbow Curve that Bill purchased in the late 1970s. They named the new development Fountain Plaza, which includes an array of cutting-edge office and retail space. Her family’s company, Dynamic Development, Inc., spearheaded the development.
